Thanks for the help a month ago. What I've been trying to accomplish is to stop fuel percolation. Well a few Oldsmobile owners have informed me that the issue is the Heat risers at the intake. I want to block them off with a set of plates from Mondello. However, some guys have told me just to cut my own from high grade grade sheet metal. Have you done this? How big of a cutout do I need and how thick? I can't try plugs because I don't have a grinder to make them fit right so I'm going the plate route. Any advice would be sorely appreciated thanks.

Hi, how are you. You have proven to very knowledgable on previous threads so I thought I'd ask you a question directly. On A '68 cutlass with a 455 and edelbrock Torker II intake, what is the highest carb spacer I can use without hitting the underside of the hood?

    Hi,
I worded that post very badly, I know what colour my father's car IS - what I meant to ask was where can you find out what colours exterior/interior would have been offered for the 1971 Oldsmobile year?
    Thanks,
    LB

Thanks for your report about seredipity. I did not get that message, but I have recently had several from AdminModerator or variations on that name, all of which have now been banned. Other members have also got them.
Let me know via PM if you have any trouble with seredipity, I'll take care of it.
